I take it that this point of view would imply that I could be thought of as the kind of person who, when confronted with the same situation, would grab a sign off one of the protesters and chant their slogans with them....it's an amusing thought. However, it would be rash to assume (which I don't think you do) that this is, indeed, my approach. By this rationale I would presently be joining Al-Quaida for their vociferous denunciation of 'Western values'. Or conversely, would be joining Bush et al. in their protests....and THEIR slogans are very loud indeed. Whose cinema should I decide to boycott? Maybe I shouldn't 'go to any cinema' at all?

Feyerabend, whilst I admit a great fondness for his writing, isn't the rock to which I cling....after all, I doubt he would be a very stable or reliable rock!

I wouldn't like to make statements concerning Feyerabend's intention in making remarks about  KRP...maybe it was just sour grapes, maybe he knew his own mind better than he could express it on paper....who knows?
