It's been used by a number of groups/people including Nina Hagan and even
Madonna, back-firing. There are a number of riotgrrl magazines around,
mainly from England, but I think as a "movement" it's moribund;  still,
there are riotgrrl concerts, etc. For the economics of excess according 
to one excessive, check out Bataille's The Accursed Share.
