I thought it was a great film. The opening sequences with Blake on the 
train, dozing and waking while Jarmusch changes the other passengers was 
well put together and set things up for that basic fading in and out that 
defines the scenes for the rest of the film. I really liked the uses of 
the Neil Young soundtrack in the train opening, particularly the way the 
soundtrack is identified with the landscape (and history) that Blake sees 
when he looks out the window and away from the train.

One question, some of the promotional materials for the film (mainly 
posters) have Jack Daniels advertising on them. Anybody know what the 
sponsorship deal was and at what stage in production it might have happened?
