_Dead Man_ is an interesting choice--I hadn't really thought about it.
Several of Jarmusch's movies (Night on Earth, especially) deal with time
or time-warps on some level.  I'll have to see Dead Man again.  In
retrospect, it might also present an interesting comparison to Mary
Lambert's _Siesta,_ which, as I recall, is based on a similar premise.

Wong Kar-Wai also sounds promising (I really liked Chungking Express), as
does Marker's _Sans Soleil._
