I don't mean to make this list sound like a gripefest, but I too have plans to
go to film school someday (film theory). I'm majoring in Communications over
here in the University of Asia and the Pacific (in the Philippines). Much to my
dismay, they fixed the program and turned it into Integrated Marketing
Communications, which I find rather dreary. I did do an undergrad thesis on the
auteur theory.

p.s. What would be the good schools for cinema studies? I'm interested in
NYU-Tisch and UT-Austin, but I'm interested in what others have to say as
well...
