Dear blaxploitation fans!

Help, please
I am trying to develop an argument around Pam Grier, her roles in the 70s,
especially Foxy Brown, and her stardom with Tarantino

unfortunately I haven't had complete access to her work..
here are my questions: does she actually use a gun? more often than her
foes? seems to me that she's been portrayed with guns, yet hardly ever
shoots people
who are the people on the wall of the Black Panther office in Foxy Brown?
(one is Angela Davis?)
does she love? e.g. in Foxy Brown, her man dies in the beginning of the
film
any ideas what this forfeiture of love means in the context of a female
action heroine ?
(what's the pattern here -- do female actions heroines remain alone?)
were there other female actions stars before her? black ones?

Nina
