I care more about the thought and intentions behind a film than the words used to describe them. But definitions are good things to create so that we can all work off the same page, then form some sort of discourse. Still there's a moment in Blade Runner when Deckard says to Tyrell, "It doesn't even know what it is." His follow up "More real, than real--that's our motto," keeps echoing through my ears. In fact, I'm almost frightenned by Scott's foreshadowing. What does that mean? Anyway, I saw a big ad in Shoot magazine for suns spots and they were congradulating David Cronnenberg.
