There are a number of good film production schools all around that I'm
sure many people have told you about by now. A couple that might not be
first of everyone's lists but nevertheless have produced some interesting
work are Florida State University and University of TExas at Austin. (I
used to work for a film festival and received a sizable number of
submissions that were well done from those two schools, in addition to
USC, NYU, CalArts, etc.).
