I thought I had read somewhere that Jodie Foster didn't approve of the turn her character had taken in the book/script. Anyone else know about this? And for what it's worth, I was so intriqued by this character I had bought the book last year. But curiosity aside, I could not get through it without getting sick. This doesn't mean the book isn't good, I just have a weak stomach! As far as the movie goes, I AM interested in the character and I like Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal. But if I couldn't tolerate the book, perhaps I should re-think seeing the film! I'm intrigued as to why I'm interested in a character who does such grisley things! But it's the psychological aspect that is interesting I guess.
