I like the reviews in http://www.popmatters.com (like the High Fidelity review) and Jonathan Rosenbaum's at http://www.chireader.com/movies (see his dual review of Men in Black and Contact for a really great example). Sight and Sound reviews are also pretty good at this at times (though I know they've received flack lately about their criticism, I still enjoy reading their stuff). If you find anything, Dave, please let me know. Andrew p.s. There used to be a Web site (from a student page) with a Lacanian reading of When Harry Met Sally. I vaguely remember it, but it was rather good for introducing the ideas. --- from list film-theory-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
