Hello again,

Great to see the response from other countries. You may not know how parochial we are, or that at year end the U.S. media publish many many lists of top ten movies of the year.

Some of the foreign movies which have been mentioned, I never heard about. Is there a good source of tapes for old and rare movies?

Recently, I saw on TV, the very famous oldie, " Blue Angel". To me it was dated and boring, but near the end it became a devasting but depressing work of art.

Hugh

  Girlies as this may be,

  1. Princess Bride

  2. Casablanca

  3. Cast Away (recent, but one i'd love go get into)

  Foreign,

  Jean De Florette

  Mannon De la Source

  Cinema Paridiso
