Hello,

I am currently researching the use of images and techniques from 
experimental films in mainstream film and video.  I have found plenty of 
examples of this (everything from "Superman" to Tool music videos), but what 
I am really looking for now is scholorly analysis on this subject.

I was curious to see if anyone could direct me to (preferrably) theoretical 
texts on this topic, but any suggestions would be helpful.

discussed before.
