From: "Simon Krysl" <sk5-AT-duke.edu> Subject: Huis Clos Date: Wed, 12 Mar 2003 16:14:16 -0500 Dear Film-Philosophers, dear film-theorists: I apologise to bother with what may be another of the most hopeless (kind) of questions. There appears to be a film version of Sartre's Huis Clos (No Exit), directed by Orson Welles ("uncredited," according to imdb) and Tad Danielewski, in 1962: did anyone ever come across a video version of this film- or at least, does anyone know any more about the film? The only other film adaptation of Huis Clos is French, by Jacqueline Audry: but that does not seem to be available on video either, and no library in the US appears to own it. Am I missing some place to look: i.e. did anyone hear of the video being present somewhere? So many thanks in any case. Sincerely, Simon Krysl --- from list film-theory-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
