Subject: DIGEST OPTION FOR THIS LIST


Since some people mentioned the volume of messages, I want to remind you all
that this list has a digest option, which permits you to get the messages
not one by one, but in 20K (or maybe 40K) packages.  If you want to avail
yourself of this option, you can do it by sending to the following address:

the following e-mail message:

     sub*scribe foucault-digest 
     unsub*scribe foucault

(but without the asterisks).
