Whether Foucault "did" or "did not" does not change the importance of
'Dicipline and Punish' for me as a student and scholar.  If I recall
correctly didn't this whole conversation start with the inquirey of
philosophy as a possible carreer path for a high school student?  We
might have scared him into civil engineering :-)
