Subject: Foucault & aesthetics

I’d like to find sites or lists that take up aesthetics in terms of
Foucault’s work. I’ve visited a number of Foucault sites but none、
including this one, seems to have any interest in aesthetics. Any
suggestions?

Or does this area interest anyone on this list? English translations
of Foucault’s essays on aesthetics are collected by James Faubion in
<Aesthetics, Method, and Epistemology>, the second volume of the
<Essential Works of Foucault> series.

A recent example of the kind of work I am interested in is Leslie
Pincus’s <Authenticating Culture in Interwar Japan : Kuki Shuzo and
the Rise of National Aesthetics> (1998) (Series: Twentieth-Century
Japan, 5), which demonstrates the imbrication of Japanese aesthetics and
nativist discourse.
