Joseph Campbell's extensive works on comparative mythology does not seem to 
draw on Foucault, but it might be something to read in conjunction with 
Foucault.  I think there might be some parallels worthy of reflection.

Thanks for the interesting discourse.  While it is not always relevant to my 
study I do get a laugh from the debates and abuse that bounces around
