Hi Yakoub,
There is a heap of stuff written on governmentality and gender,
including a lot written from feminist perspectives. See for example
Judith Butler's work, especially Bodies that Matter (1993) and Gender
Trouble (1990). See also Margaret McLaren (2002) Foucault, Feminism and
Embodied Subjectivity; Susan Hekman (ed) (1993) Feminist perspectives
on Foucault, and a number of important articles by Jana Sawicki.
For feminists more critical of Foucault dealing with this see Lois
McNay (1992?) Feminism and Foucualt, and Caroline Ramanozoglou (ed)
(1993) Up Against Foucualt. (Not sure of the spelling of Caroline's
surname here)
