Wow! To be honest, I hadn't expected this sort of post on this mailing
list...

You may have a valid point; my first impulse is to encourage you to take
your own advice...

On second thought, isn't this precisely the sort of attitude that the
Frankfurt School thinkers face?  

Is Ralph's opinion of a higher quality because he is able to critique
drivel, even while his post itself could easily be construed as equal
drivel?  What precipitated the post, and what was its intention?
