The letters you refer to are a conversation about Benjamin's Baudelaire
manuscript. They are found in _Aesthetics and politics_ / [by] Ernst
Bloch ... [et al.] ; afterword by Fredric Jameson ; [translated from the
German] ; translation editor, Ronald Taylor. London : NLB, 1977.
Additionally, you may find them in _The Correspondence of Walter Benjamin_
ed. G. Scholem and T. Adorno, trans. Manfred Jacobsen and Evelyn Jacobsen,
University of Chicago Press, 1994. This collection also contains
additional letters on the same theme and is most useful.
The German versions are in Walter Benjamin Briefe I (1910-1928) and Briefe
II (1929-1940), Suhrkamp Verlag 1978.
Best,
Vance
