What about I's comments concerning, 

	"that extremely ancient civilization [that] would undoubtedly 
	have a different alphabet, a different language..."?  (25)

Cixous, Chawaf and other "new" French feminists often describe ecriture 
feminine  as a process which would allow for regression back to this 
archaic space, by creating a different lang, etc.
	To what extent does the mention of this archaic space open up the 
possibility of different (psycho)social dynamics or (il)logic?  It strikes 
me as very utopian...but also promising...  It seems like Freud used this 
space as one more example of woman as mystery, unknowable, 
unrepresentable.  How does the Fre fem attempt to "recall" it 
reproduce/create it?  and to what degree?  
I think Butler could be useful here, but I can't make the connection right 
now...  Thoughts, anyone?
