It seems to me that a reasonable course of action at this point would be 
for someone who's expressed an interest in reading "This Sex..." to 
volunteer to "moderate" the discussion: i.e., to post initial comments 
and/or questions, and kind of keep an eye on things to see whether the 
discussion maintains its momentum. I don't see any reason why this would 
preclude other discussions running at the same time, so long as everyone 
is careful to identify (in the subject line of their posts) the 
particular discussion that their post is relevant to.

Any volunteers to kick this off?
