CALL FOR PAPER PROPOSALS FOR THE PROGRAM OF THE ROUND TABLE OF
   WOMEN'S ISSUES

The Round Table on Women's Issues (RTWI) seeks abstracts for papers on 
the topic "The Emerging Power of Women: Traditional and Professional 
Roles" for possible presentation at the IFLA 62nd Annual Conference on 
August 25-30 1996.

The paper should follow the Round Table's objectives to concern the 
status of women in information and library work or deal with information 
needs of women or with information services for women.  At least one 
paper will be selected which deals with any of these aspects in a 
developing country or region.
The length of abstract in English should be 200 words.  The abstract 
should be sybmitted by 31 December 1995 by air mail letter, fax or email 
to any of the following persons:
