There is something that I find very troubling about this current 
thread, namely the theme of spititulaism.  Whenever this term is 
employed I get uneasy.  This is because I am not at all sure what 
people are talking about.  What is this spirtit?  Can we get any 
evidence for it?  Are we talking about the same thing? (One person's 
spirtitualism is another person's parinoid delusions).  I would feel 
much more comfertable if someone could give a definition or example 
of what is being talked about and why anyone should give it any 
credibility, import, or even believe that it is real.
