Shari,

In English *America Day by Day* was translated by Patrick Dudley and
published by Grove Press out of New York in 1953. It is proabably out of
print in English. If you read French (and it is still in print) there is a
store in West L.A. called La Cite that will order it for you. The French
title is *L'Amerique au jour le jour*. Paris: Morihien, 1948. If it is
available at all in French that is the place to call. For the English you
may try Midnight Special in Santa Monica (213) 393-2923. Or one of the
used bookstores around-maybe Book City in Hollywood or Bookman in the city
of Orange-these are both good sources for books like this. Of course, you
could always go to the library and do the interlibrary loan thing.

Good luck
