It is proabably out of print in English. If you read French (and it is still in print) there is a store in West L.A. called La Cite that will order it for you. The French title is *L'Amerique au jour le jour*. Paris: Morihien, 1948. If it is available at all in French that is the place to call. For the English you may try Midnight Special in Santa Monica (213) 393-2923. Or one of the used bookstores around-maybe Book City in Hollywood or Bookman in the city of Orange-these are both good sources for books like this. Of course, you could always go to the library and do the interlibrary loan thing. Good luck Stephenie New York but used to live in Long Beach! >Someone passed on an internet article to me by Douglas Brinkley about a >book be DeBeuavoir called America Day By Day -- I'm using the return >Email address on this communication in hopes that someone on the >receiving end can give me a source for this book, as w2 bookstores >so far have been unable to order it for me.
