Try reading the film criticism of Mary Ann Doane. I believe her
speciality is American (Hollywood) women's films of the nineteen
forties. Also, I just saw the Magic Hunter by IIdikó Enyedi
(Hungary). I believe this film has elements which could be
interesting to both feminism and postmodernism. ( if anyone has read
feminist criticism of this film please let us know). There are lots
of films that meet your request....I'm sure there will be lots of
response.
