By now this shouldn't be happening any more, but this is to let all of 
you know that what was going on was that we had a bad (i.e., nonexistent) 
address subbed to the list, and the messages that were sent to that 
address were bouncing not to the list-owner, as they should, but to the 
list. This creates a loop, which is, as Colette is pointing out, quite 
annoying. But it's all fixed now, as far as I can tell.
