Dear French Feminists,

Thanks very much to Catherine Peebles for bringing up the French Feminism 
Across the Disciplines symposium. We will set the program (arrange papers 
in panels) later this month and plan to send out copies of a tentative 
program around the first of December. I am also planning on posting the 
program on lists such as french-feminism, balzac, etc. That way, 
pre-conference discussions can begin. I'm also planning, btw, a list of 
participants with snail mail as well as e-mail addresses so that the 
dialogues begun during the conference can continue. I think we are going 
to have some amazing papers at this conference. I am very excited.
