i think that the questions Kenneth puts forward are of cricial
importance, esp. qus. 4,5,6. In fact this is quite symptomatic that
eventually every issue of feminist theory (and postr. in general)
inevitably boils down to the problem of appropriation of narratives
(broadly conceived) conceived of and at first received as subversive but
sooner or later appropriated by dominant cultural forces. I.e. the crux
is textual resistance. I hope that my modest contribution(s) might be of
relevance. Check out my essay "THE PROMISE OF EXPRESSION..." in the
eleventh issue of PERFORATIONS which addresses the mentioned questions
with particular emphasis on ecriture feminine and "minor genres", "minor
literature" (Deleuze/Guattari):
