Dear list
I am currently in my final year of a history and religious studies joint
honours degree with good grades which have dramatically improved since I
began studying critical theory.  I am very interested in pursuing a
graduate course in the United States which focuses on gender.  I have
recently completed a religious studies course entitled 'Possessed Women'
which involved interpreting and critically evaluating representations of
possessed women.    This course was for me a 'life changer' in that it
made me very aware of how gender and culture affect western writings and
the agency of the subjects being written about.  I would love to
continue with and go deeper into the gender and post-colonialist
theories that i have started to study here at Stirling University.
