Have you thought about other stuff, like Merlin Stone's _When God Was A
Woman_? Or goddess stuff? Sometimes the best way to illustrate the
contingency of THE story is to introduce the little narratives THE story
silences in order to fend off contradictions. And all the stuff from the
"heathen" religions that THE story sucks up and propriates....I swear, it's
like capital: it can appropriate almost anything, and what it can't, it just
hushes. >:>
