Hello, Maureen and I are in the process of updating the required reading list for our undergraduate course, "The Bible and the Body" which we will be teaching for the second time this coming April in our Spring Evening course at Brock University. We will be using the recent _Feminist Companion to Reading the Bible_, edited by Athalya Brenner and Carole Fontaine (Sheffield. 1997) as our primary text. We are also interested in suggestions on individual articles that may be appropriate for undergraduate Women's Studies students who have no background in religious or biblical studies. I would like to find a couple of articles in French Feminist theory and religion/biblical studies that would help to frame the profound political issues of doing feminist biblical interpretation. Thanks for your help, Tom -- DON'T SLOWLY TURN AND WALK AWAY. ~~~~~~ Break the silence ~~~~~~. Face the fear. Stop the terror. Speak the truth. Embrace alterity.
