Jenny and others, perhaps,
I don't believe B Bechtold "purported to judge" your research; he said
something about the statement you made and the kind of discourse it
usually comes from.
Can we please take responsibility for our statements instead of growing
defensive and striking out?

P.S. It's probably the case that a very good argument indeed could be made
that _today's_ readings of Plato, Aristotle, etc. are very much informed
by readings of Marx, among other later thinkers. If modern thinkers didn't
effect and change the way we read earlier thinkers, I don't suppose
we'd bother reading the latter at all. Other good examples would be
Derrida and Plato (and Derrida and Marx, for that matter), or Irigaray and
Aristotle.
