Philsophy and the Future of the "Female Condition"

The 9th Symposium of the International Association of Women Philosophers
will be held October 4-8, 2000 in Zuerich, Switzerland

The turn of the millenium is an occasioin for a look back, as well as a look
forward, to central themes and the development of feminist philosophizing.
A theoretical and political definition of the position will coalesce topics,
ask current questions, and stimulate new areas of research.

A preliminary program, together with a Call for Papers will be sent out in
summer, 1999. Updated information can then be accessed on the IAPh website: .
