Hilary!  Wow, thanks.  I've been the 'writing what I'm thinking' stage
with this chapter and have done really minimal research on other
secondary sources (bad bad bad, I know).  Thanks tons for these
references.  

Somewhere in Je Tu Nous Irigaray alludes to yogas and to the Romanian
(emigre to France) poet-Scholar Eliade who wrote his dis. on yoga, I
think.  Then there's a few reference in I Love to You, and the whole
Eastern connection is all over An Ethics, but subtle. These are the
texts I'm focucing on in the chapter as a prelude to working out a
critical "method" for poetry.

I would love to trade ideas and comments with you.  I'll be hunting up
your dissertation certainly.
