I took a look at your syllabus, and it looks great, Tom. Really an 
interesting course, and terrific readings.

I don't know. How do you understand "the sacred" in this formulation? I 
guess one could say that Princess Di has a numinous quality in the 
popular imagination--is that what you mean?
