Mary, - we are a bit closer than you may think, as I work in Cambridge (UK).
In what context are you teaching Hegel and Irigaray?
As for myself, I'm especially interested in how Irigaray's reading of Hegel
in Speculum affects her later political thought, especially as in some of
the essays in Sexes and Genealogies. But I
remain not-fully-decided, as someone who is quite sympathetic to Hegel, how
fair
Irigaray's reading of his treatment of Antigone is.
I'd be very interested to exchange materials on this theme with Peggy and/or
yourself.
