You might have more luck in finding critiques of the entire philosophical
approach adopted in 'Knowledge and Human Interests' - not least from 
Habermas himself. There is an excellent, and brief, account of this transition
in the final section of Axel Honneth's 'Critique of Power' (MIT Press).
There is also Rorty's famous (and influential, Habermas responds to it
in 'Theory of Communicative Action Vol 2') assault on the KHI framework in
the final section of 'Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature'.
