I'm not Craig, but I'd be interested in pursuing this conversation.  My own
pre-understanding / pre-judice / ... is that if we're in the endgame of *THE
ENLIGHTENMENT* it's not because we've exhausted the potential for
enlightenment in our social world (I think what Richard Bernstein has to say
about Habermas in this regard in "The New Constellation" (MIT) fits in with
my thoughts here).  (I think I'm open to changing my opinions if the unforced
force of the discussion urges such....)
