If you want to find relations between Body and Public Morality,
such as the foundation of morality over fisiology, try to search for
Umberto Eco's latest works. Last year he gave an interview to Roger Pol
Droit (french journalist) explaining exactly his beliefs about the
foundation of all spiritual matters, and specially moratity, over the body
existence.
I don't know if he has written any sistematic paper or article
about this theme yet, but try to get in touch with his later works or
interviews (I can indicate some, if you want) where you can sure find the
information you need.
Inside Habermas theory I belive the bodily existence only has an
indirect influence over his thinking, once it can only be seen in some of
the works from other authors which Habermas uses to construct his theory.
