Remember what he wrote in first article of the third part of the "Vorstudien und Ergaenzungen zur Theorie des kommunikativen Handelns" in 1975. Really, I think -little near to Peirce and little far to Habermas- that the body has an starring role in the meaning of the argue talk where alter and ego get the agreement and find the way to the social coordination of the action. In this place ego understand if alter spoke with veracity, normative honor and sincerity. Habermas said more than once that the body is a part of the action but it isn't the action. I don't agree with this because it is -for me- a misreading of "the part by the all" system meaning Apart from that, Habermas build in the `60's a sharp idea about the body and the social meaning of it with "Strukturwandel der Offentlichkeit", when he explains the "representative offentlichkeit" -sorry, but I can't imagine now a better translate-. The body build -in this idea- the meaning of the social subject that carries it. Actually, with the mass media that we have, this idea may be let us understand what happen with the videopolicy and what is the meaning of this in the "world-social-life" ("mundo de la vida"). (PS: Likever, sorry but my southamerican english isn't the best to speak about Habermas) Cheeers, ***************************************** Guillermo Ariso Licenciado en comunicacion (UBA) Tilcara 3157 (1437) Capital Federal Buenos Aires, Argentina E-mail: wilhelm-AT-ari.psico.net *****************************************
