Subject: HAB: Habermas on Social Evolution

Dear Habermasians: Someone recently mentioned that he was writing a
dissertation (book?) on Hab's theory of social evolution. I would be
willing to correspond with this person either on or off list since I
wrote my dissertation on Habermas' Theory of Social Evolution. ned
Actually, it was on Habermas' general views of history and evolution.
I was rather critical of the tose and recommended a narrative philosophy
of history in its stead. Sorry I forgot the name of the person. I was
rather busy at the time and didn't jot down the name or save the post. I
am now working on a long-term project concerning world-civilizations as
a follow-up to the theoretical work I did in my diss. If there is any so
interest, either post to the list or e-mail me directly. J. Randall tical
