To Ermel, et al.,

I would be sad to see the habermas list folded into the Frankfurt
school list.  Personally, I have had a great fondness for Habermas
ever since I took courses with him about 1967, when he was Theodor
Heuss Professor at the New School.  

Whether or not one agrees with him -- and I often do not -- he is
one of the most thoughtful, and also one of the most intellectually
honest, individuals I have ever met.

If you decide to merge your habermas list with the frankfurt-school
list, I would be happy to establish a separate habermas list on The
Free Lance Academy to accommodate those who prefer separation.
