I think this is a good idea.  The more the merrier.  I am _both_ in
support of a list which treats Habermas with the Frankfurt School, and a
separate list which treats him as an individual figure.  So Lance, if you
have the time, by all means create a separate list, and please post
information on this list to the combined Habermas and Frankfurt list at
habermas-AT-jefferson.village.virginia.edu; many of us, I'm sure, will
subscribe to your list, and not only "those who prefer separation." 

However, the main problem with such a list may be the one faced with the
Habermas list at jefferson.village.virginia.edu--and that is, there will
be very little discussion.  But with more publicity, this may be quite 
different with the list you intend to create.
