Subject: HAB: Putting it to a Vote

Ok - before this discussion about performative contradictions
hits the rails I want to put it to a vote.

1. How many people think it is a coherent and rational charge?
Post your response to the list or to me in private (in the form
of "I agree with Habermas" or "I disagree with Habermas"). I'll
summarize it all after 4 or 5 days. If you want give a brief
(very brief) reason why it makes sense or not ie. if you were
charged with a performative contradiction would you change
your mind, feel free to do so. This is going out to everyone -
esp. those who have never posted.

2. If you agree with the strategy - please make, and include, a
moral claim that is not performatively contradictory.

thanks,
ken
