In case somebody is going to vote, I'll summarize the issue.
In a wide sense, a performative contradiction is saying one thing
and doing the opposite. In a more restricted sense, it is saying one
thing and *thereby* doing the opposite. Ken's charge is that criticizing
someone for this is incoherent, a logical circle, at least when
Habermas does it. Now,
