I, like Jeff, am new to Habermas - I am currently  reading 'technology and
science as ideology' and am particularly interested in 'technocratic
consciousness' as a way of understanding how actions are legitimated -
particularly 'war'/'conflict'.  Unlike Jeff, I am finding his work heavy
going, though often rewarding. So I would appreciate some closer, more
introductory, analysis.

Perhaps we could identify certain terms and discuss ways to apply thjem -
is this too basic?
