Subject: HAB: Thanks and a temporary goodbye
Date: Thu, 08 Apr 1999 11:35:38 GMT

Last year I started a thread or two regarding the ideal speech situation,
particularly with regard to nursing and healthcare. I swore blind that I
wasn't one of these people who signed on with a question about an
assignment, then was never heard from again! Ironically, that's just what
happened... although I remained on the list, and tried to keep up with my
reading, I had little to contribute :o)

Now I'm graduated, moving to Sydney and a new job working in a children's
hospital. The original issue was applied to adult mental health care in
New Zealand, and the presentation went fine - thanks for the assist, all
those who remember... and now I get to find out how much of the theory
applies to little people that can't talk yet.

Will be offline for awhile; look forward to joining you all again in a few
months' time.

Cheers,
