Subject: HAB: constructivism


To the colleague who was asking about constructivism.

Read Habermas's response at the end of Honneth's and Joas, eds.
_Communicative Action_ (MIT, ???). There Habermas deals severely and
devastatingly with constructivist arguments, in particular the position of
Joas, who is a sort of constructivist. Which is a way of saying that
Habermas does not consider himself a constructivist.
