Hello Matt,
I do not feel that Habermas is very frustrating. I understand that
Habermas is exploring the problem of the validity of norms through analyzing
the foundations of reason in language mediated discourse. The depth of
understanding required is necessary in order to prevent contextual distortion
of the analysis by local influences upon the reader as well as to examine and
eliminate all of the possible criticisms.
